Lotman revisited: Latin American perspectives
In addition to the commemoration activities that mark the centenary of Iuri Lotman (2022-02-28), the book "Lotman revisited: Latin American perspectives" is released. Organized by Silvia N. Barei and Ariel Gómez Ponce, the book has a preface by Kalevi Kull and articles by scholars of Lotman's works and the semiotics of culture from all over Latin America. Some of the authors will be guests at the seminar "International Seminar to Celebrate Yuri Lotman´s Centennial", which will take place on October 26, 27 and 28, 2022.

Abstracts of the “Juri Lotman’s Semiosphere” Congress (2022)
In 2022 we celebrate the centenary of the birth of Juri Lotman (February 28, 1922), with an International Congress “Juri Lotman’s Semiosphere”. The official languages of the congress are English and Russian. The 4-day congress took place from February 25 to 26 at the University of Tallinn and from February 27 to 28 at the University of Tartu, Estonia.
